You can use your old Fob with your new ChargeCase. The ChargeCase shipped with a Fob because a swiper is needed to swipe your cards into the Case.
But if you already have a Fob, go ahead and use it.
Your existing Fob already stores your payment cards. Your LoopPay account stores your ID’s, loyalty and reward cards. Since you've already swiped your payment or gift cards into your Fob, It won't take you long to get your Card or CardCase up and running.
Any card you want to transmit payment using your new ChargeCase must be also swiped into the Case.
Don't worry, it's fast and easy.
To use your current Fob:
You'll need the newest version of the app from the App store.
Sign in to your ChargeCase, no need to create an account if you already have one.
Let the App's Get Started Wizard guide you. Need help or step by step instructions? Check out our Get Started Guide.
Insert your original Fob.
- It's OK to answer Yes to the Bind Fob question if asked so that the Wizard may proceed. The app knows the Fob is already bound to your account and this step won't harm it.
Connect and Bind the ChargeCase. If you need help with this, see ChargeCase Connection issues.
Swipe your payment cards into your ChargeCase.
Add your signature and profile photo if you have downloaded a new version of the app.
You can even assign one default card to your Fob and a different default card to your ChargeCase.
You can give that new Fob away to a friend or family member if you wish, or keep it as a backup.
