New LoopPay Device?

No need to "delete" your cards or create a new LoopPay account.  Unbinding your old device will be sufficient, (see steps below).

New Phone?

No need to unbind your LoopPay device, (see steps below).


New LoopPay Device

  1. Unbind your old LoopPay device in the App (Settings, Device Settings, Unbind). (Fob needs to be attached or bluetooth device in proximity to your phone)
  2. Recycle your old LoopPay device at a certified electronic recycling center like Staples or Best Buy.
  3. Attach the new device if Fob or Case.
  4. Make sure you have the newest LoopPay App from the App Store or Google Play, sign in - retrieve your new activation token from email.
  5. Let the Get Started Wizard help you attach, or discover/connect your new device.
  6. Answer Yes to Bind.
  7. Swipe your Cards into the new device, no need to re-type card names or enter IDs, loyalty or membership cards.
  8. Add your security codes.
  9. If you re-installed the app - add your Signature in Settings, Profile Info
  10. If you re-installed the app - add your Photo in Settings, Profile Info


Why do you need to re-swipe your payment cards into your new LoopPay device?  Because the magnetic stripe data is actually stored on the device, not in your phone, on LoopPay servers or in your App.

New Phone

  4. Install the LoopPay App from the App Store or Google Play on your new phone.
  5. Sign in - retrieve your new activation token from email.
  6. In Settingsattach, or discover/connect your device
  7. If the Bind question displays, it won't hurt to bind your device, the App knows it's already bound to your account.
  8. Add your Signature in SettingsProfile Info (required because of re-install)
  9. Add your Photo in SettingsProfile Info (required because of re-install)
  10. Your payment cards should display as normal with your device icon next to them


Both New Phone and New LoopPay App - it's great to be you.....
