The transmission between LoopPay and the credit card terminal/reader is done over a very short distance (1 to 4 inches) and is completed within a fraction of a second. Also, the transmission must be initiated by you, and cannot be easily intercepted or captured by another device, which minimizes the possibility of the transmission being "sniffed".
Can my credit card details be stolen while transmitting with my device?
